Growing Information

Once you've got your Marglobe tomato seedling, it's time to find it a sunny spot in your garden. As a determinate variety, it'll produce loads of delicious tomatoes all at once, so make sure you're ready for a bountiful harvest around 75 days after transplanting. These tomatoes are globe-shaped and usually free from blemishes, which means they'll look just as good as they taste! Remember, the mature color is your best indicator of ripeness, so keep an eye out for that vibrant red hue.

'Nir’s Take'

I don’t know why, but the name ‘Marglobe’ has always stood out for me. I remember when I was growing a different set of tomato varieties and had no idea what they were, but this one captured my attention. They ended up working out really well! These are high yield tomatoes, smaller than your traditional large tomato but still large enough that you can use a bunch of these for tomato sauce or soup, which is what I typically do in July and August.

Cooking & Eating Ideas

The Marglobe tomato is the king of versatility in the kitchen. Its rich flavor makes it the perfect addition to homemade tomato paste, soup, and spaghetti sauce. Or, slice it up for a fresh and tangy addition to your summer salads. The possibilities are endless!
