Growing Information

The Puma pepper loves the spotlight, thriving in full sun and warm conditions. It roots deeply into the rich, well-draining soil, its green-purple foliage dancing in the sunlight while appreciating a little afternoon shade during the hottest summer days. Once the frost's threat has subsided, it's time to bring this beauty outdoors. Just make sure it's hardened off properly before transplanting to ensure it adapts well to its new environment. Once settled, it grows eagerly, reaching its full potential in about 90-100 days. Keep the soil moist but not waterlogged, and you'll be rewarded with a bountiful, vibrant harvest.

'Nir’s Take'

I’ve grown these peppers on and off in the past years as well. This one’s actually a really good one to add for making hot sauces cause it’s got like a super like habanero type of heat. The colors are pretty amazing because they’re not just like typical red like more like a violet orange like just different types of color That you like amazing hot sauce like look without any kind of like natural coloring and it’s pretty you know it’s got it. It’s got it but it’s not hot.

Cooking & Eating Ideas

Although we don't have any specific recipes to share at the moment, the Hot Pepper Puma's distinct heat and fruity undertones make it a perfect addition to hot sauces, salsas, and seasoning blends. Let it add a fiery twist to your favorite dishes!
