Growing Information
The Tobago Seasoning pepper is an heirloom variety that loves warm climates and long growing seasons. It prefers rich, well-draining soil and should be exposed to 8-12 hours of full sun every day. Water it regularly and keep the soil evenly moist. A balanced, slow-release fertilizer applied every few weeks will help your plant flourish. And remember, these peppers take about 90-100 days to mature. You'll know they're ready when they turn from green to a fiery red.
'Nir’s Take'
“This is a much more tame pepper than most. It’s not super hot. It’s much milder than a habanero so if you like peppers on the milder side, this is a great choice. If you plan on using these in your cooking, I would suggest having 2 to 4 plants.”
