Growing Information

Once your Pepper Caribbean Red Habanero seedlings have established themselves, it's time to transplant them outdoors. Wait until the threat of frost has passed, then space your plants 18-24 inches apart in a sunny spot. These peppers love 6-8 hours of sunlight per day, and moist, but not waterlogged, soil. Remember, watering at the base of the plant helps keep the foliage dry. As your plants grow taller, stakes or cages can provide much-needed support. When the peppers are firm, fully ripened to a bright red, and have reached their peak heat, it's time to harvest. Enjoy the fruits of your labor and the fiery flavor of these incredibly hot peppers!

'Nir’s Take'

You see a lot of peppers that have the taste of a hot pepper, but don’t have the heat. This is the opposite. You have the habanero flavor with the extra heat, which is perfect for people who just wanna spice up anything or any dish they’re looking to do. These grow really well and you’ll get a ton of peppers. I personally like to plant them closer than what the suggested spacing is. Peppers are pretty forgiving, so if you grow more peppers in less space, you might get less yield per plant but since you have more plants, overall, you grow more peppers. It’s just basic math.

Cooking & Eating Ideas

These peppers are perfect for those who love to experiment with heat in their cooking. Use them to craft spicy salsas, fiery marinades, or homemade hot sauces. For an authentic touch, try incorporating them into traditional Caribbean dishes, or add a slice to your next stir-fry for an unexpected kick. Remember, a little goes a long way with these dynamite daredevils!
